Middle School Info
**Please note that breakfasts and lunches are free for all STUDENTS for the 2024-25 school year.
Everyone should participate in the breakfast and lunch program! They are the most important meals of the day. It’s a fact that these meals fuel the brain so you can stay focused and help you do better in school! Enjoy!
Breakfast served daily:
- 1C. Assorted whole grain cereal, Assorted whole grain 2 oz. muffins, 1 C. fresh or canned fruit and 1 C. Milk – your choice of 1% white milk, skim white milk or fat-free chocolate milk.
- Breakfast a la carte items available daily: 1 oz. assorted whole grain cereal at $1.25, assorted whole grain 2 oz. muffins at $1.00, 1 C. fresh or canned fruit at $1.00, 1 C. of 1% white, skim white, or fat-free chocolate milk at $0..75 cents, assorted low-fat 4 oz. yogurt at $1.25, and 4 oz. assorted 100% juice at $0.75 cents.
Alternate Lunches Served Daily:
- Option 1: 4 oz. Sunbutter with Jelly sandwich on whole grain bread, ½ C. fresh or canned fruit, ¾ C. Assorted fresh vegetables with low-fat dipping sauce or ¾ C. steamed seasoned fresh vegetables, 1 C. of 1% white milk, skim white milk or low-fat chocolate milk.
- Option 2: (depending on market price): 1 C. Leafy green fresh garden salad with tomato, cucumber, ½ C. chick peas and 2 oz. shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese, 1 whole grain roll, ½ C. Fresh or canned fruit, 1 C. of 1% white milk, skim white milk or low-fat chocolate milk.
Any item on the menu can be purchased individually at a la carte pricing. Charging of a la carte items is not allowed.
Available a la carte items are:
- 16 oz. water – $1.00
- Large Ice cream – $1.25
- 1 oz. baked cookie (Friday only) – $ .50
- 4 oz. yogurt – $1.25
- Small Ice cream – $.75
- Pretzels – $.75
- Fresh/canned fruit – $ 1.00
- Small chips – $1.00
- Rice Krispie treat – $1.00
- Gold fish – $ .75

Alternate Lunches Served Daily:
- Option 1: 4 oz. Sunbutter with Jelly sandwich on whole grain bread is option for dairy free students ONLY, 1/2 C. fresh or canned fruit, ¾ C. assorted fresh or steamed vegetables, 1 C. of 1% white milk or low-fat chocolate milk.
- Option 2: (depending on market price): 1 C. Leafy green fresh garden salad with tomato, cucumber, carrots and 1/2 C. shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese, 1 whole grain roll, 1/2 C. Fresh or canned fruit, 1 C. of 1% white milk or low-fat chocolate milk.

Per the United States of Agriculture, we will no longer be able to offer peanut butter.
Sunflower butter is the approved replacement. It is a great substitute for peanut butter.
- Sunflower is lower in saturated fat.
- Higher in dietary fiber.
- High in protein.
We will continue to have a Peanut Free Table in all cafeterias. Please note it is sanitized by our staff after each lunch period.
